New York Wedding

Regan & Jeff | Whitby Castle

There are some wedding days where you can feel the excitement from the moment you arrive, and Regan and Jeff's was exactly that. Set against the warm colors of a New York autumn, their day at Whitby Castle was filled with laughter, happy tears, and the kind of joy that comes from being surrounded by the people who know you best.

From the beginning, it was obvious that these two simply love being together. They spent the day smiling at each other, laughing between portraits, and soaking in every part of the celebration. They never seemed rushed or distracted—instead, they embraced every conversation, every hug, and every opportunity to simply enjoy the day they had been waiting for.

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching the way their families and friends celebrated alongside them. There was an overwhelming sense of love and support that carried through every part of the wedding, from the emotional ceremony to the heartfelt toasts and the packed dance floor later that evening. You could tell that every person in the room was genuinely excited to witness the beginning of this next chapter.

Autumn couldn't have provided a more beautiful backdrop. We wandered the grounds together, taking advantage of the beautiful scenery while never pulling Regan and Jeff away from the celebration for long. Those quiet moments together became a chance for them to slow down, laugh, and take in the fact that they were finally married.

As the reception began, the energy only grew. Friends and family filled the dance floor, glasses were raised in celebration, and the room was full of the kind of laughter that makes a wedding unforgettable. It was one of those evenings where no one wanted the music to end and every song seemed to bring everyone a little closer together.

One of the things I loved most about this wedding wasn't just how beautiful it looked—it was how it felt. There was a warmth that surrounded the entire day, created by the people who showed up to celebrate Regan and Jeff and by the genuine happiness the two of them shared. Those are the weddings that stay with you long after the final dance.
