With over a decade of experience, Amy has photographed weddings and elopements in some of the most beautiful locations from grand ballrooms to magnificent gardens, caves, rock cliffs, and even a hot air balloon.
"I’ve always been fascinated by people—the way they connect, celebrate, comfort one another, and express love in ways both big and small. It’s what first drew me to wedding photography and what continues to inspire me after all these years.
My photography style is rooted in authentic storytelling. I’m drawn to candid glances, spontaneous laughter, raw emotion, and meaningful interactions that make your wedding uniquely yours. At the same time, I love incorporating editorial-inspired portraits at the right moments, creating images that feel both timeless and elevated without losing their authenticity.
One of the things I value most about photographing weddings is understanding the unique energy of each celebration. Every celebration feels different, and one of the skills I’ve come to trust most over the years is my ability to read that energy and adapt to it. I pay close attention to what’s happening around me—not just the timeline, but the emotions, dynamics, and moments unfolding between people.
Sometimes that means offering gentle guidance when it’s needed. Other times, it means recognizing that a moment is happening exactly as it should and quietly stepping back so it can unfold uninterrupted. Knowing the difference is at the heart of how I approach a wedding day.
Couples often tell me they feel relaxed around me, and I think that comes from being very intentional about how I show up throughout the day. My role is to create space while staying present and aware of everything happening. You don’t have to think about the photography or where to be next—you can simply be in the moment, knowing it’s all being thoughtfully documented.
Through my experience photographing weddings, I’ve come to appreciate that the most meaningful photographs are often rooted in connection—the moments that reflect not just what happened, but who was there and how it felt to share it together. Those are the moments I’m always looking for, and the ones I feel most honored to preserve."
