When you think of a New York City wedding, towering skylines and historic architecture often come to mind. But tucked away in the Bronx is one of the city's most breathtaking wedding venues—the New York Botanical Garden. With 250 acres of beautifully curated gardens, winding paths, and seasonal blooms, it's a place that feels worlds away from the pace of Manhattan while still being unmistakably New York.


Brendan and Azadeh couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining, the gardens were glowing, and every corner of the property seemed to offer another incredible backdrop. From quiet moments surrounded by lush greenery to portraits framed by colorful flowers and elegant architecture, the entire day felt effortlessly romantic.


One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at the New York Botanical Garden is how much variety it offers. Home to more than one million living plants, the Garden has been a New York City landmark since 1891 and is one of the largest and most renowned botanical gardens in the world. Whether you're drawn to formal gardens, tree-lined walkways, or the iconic Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, there is no shortage of stunning locations for wedding photography throughout the seasons.


While the setting was incredible, it was Brendan and Azadeh's energy that made the day unforgettable. They spent the day completely immersed in every moment—laughing with friends and family, soaking in the celebration, and enjoying every second together. Their joy was contagious, and it was impossible not to smile watching everyone celebrate alongside them.


As the evening unfolded, the dance floor quickly became the heart of the reception. The live band kept the energy high all night, and Brendan and Azadeh didn't just dance—they sang along to their favorite songs, surrounded by the people they love most. It was one of those receptions where no one wanted the night to end, and the excitement only seemed to grow with each song.


The New York Botanical Garden is truly one of my favorite NYC wedding venues because it offers the perfect balance of natural beauty and timeless elegance. Whether you're planning an intimate garden ceremony or a grand celebration, every season brings something unique, making it an incredible setting for couples who want their wedding to feel both refined and connected to nature.
